한편, 2PM은 지난 9월 13일 6번째 정규앨범 [GENTLEMEN'S GAME]를 CD 음반으로 먼저 발매하며, 한층 세련되고 유니크한 젠틀맨의 모습으로 컴백했다.
타이틀곡 'Promise (I'll be)’를 통해 그동안 보여주지 않았던 그 나이 대의 또 다른 남성미를 뽐내며 큰 호응을 이끌어냈다.
'Promise (I’ll be)’는 멤버 택연이 직접 작사-작곡에 참여한 트랙으로, Future bass, Big band, Urban 세 가지 장르를 2PM의 색깔에 맞게 재 조합해 3개월에 걸쳐 완성시킨 곡이다.
이 외에도 11개의 트랙리스트 중 7곡에 멤버들의 손길이 닿아 있다. 우영은 'Giv u Class.'와 '콧노래'를 작사-작곡에 나섰으며, 찬성은 'Make Love'와 'Can't Stop Feeling' 작사-작곡, 'Uneasy'의 작사에 참여했다. 또한 택연은 '향수'의 랩 메이킹에 참여하며 유수의 작곡가들과 나란히 이름을 올렸다.

2PM is recreating its 6th full-length album [GENTLEMEN’S GAME] into a limited LP edition.
This LP is limited in quantity according to the number of orders placed within a week from October 17 to 24.
This LP features 2PM’s deeper and more delicate feelings and analog vibes that bring back the old memories to this digital era, offering an added value of the album.
2PM released the CD version of [GENTLEMEN’S GAME] on September 13 and made its comeback as even more sophisticated and unique gentlemen.
Through the title track ‘Promise (I’ll be),’ the members of 2PM have shown their mature energy as gentlemen.
TAECYEON has participated in composing and writing the track ‘Promise (I’ll be).’ To combine the future bass, big band, and urban genres into 2PM’s color, this song took three months to finish.
The members of 2PM have also participated in making seven tracks of the album. WOOYOUNG composed the tunes and lyrics of ‘Giv u Class.’ and ‘Humming.’ CHANSUNG participated in composing and writing ‘Make Love’ and ‘Can’t Stop Feeling’ as well as writing the lyrics of ‘Uneasy.’ TAECYEON has collaborated with renowned songwriters and made rap lines for ‘Perfume.’
